Classroom Renovation and Caregiver Training at Umodzi CBCC

Through the "Shift the Power" approach, Child Focus Organization successfully facilitated a community-led action during a classroom renovation and caregiver training at Umodzi Community Based Child Care Centre (CBCC) in Kadengule Village, T/A Matola. Local caregivers took full ownership of their children's education by learning to fabricate high-quality playing and learning materials entirely from their own locally available resources. This initiative directly drives grassroots self-reliance, proving that empowered communities possess the capacity to solve local challenges immediately instead of waiting for external assistance.
