For many years, Child Focus Organisation operated from a shared office space that could accommodate only one or two staff members at a time. With most staff working remotely and limited resources available, collaboration, confidential meetings, and day-to-day operations were often challenging. Despite these constraints, our dedicated team continued to serve children, youth, and communities through volunteer efforts and small project grants.
Today, Child Focus Organisation has secured a dedicated office space and equipped it with essential furniture and workstations for staff. This investment has improved coordination, teamwork, productivity, and our ability to engage partners and stakeholders in a professional and confidential environment. In addition, five key staff members are now on the payroll, bringing greater stability, accountability, and efficiency to our operations.
This transformation was made possible through the support of the Shifting the Power Programme, implemented by the Tilitonse Foundation in partnership with Comic Relief and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (UK Aid). Their investment has strengthened our organisational capacity and positioned Child Focus Organisation to expand its reach and deliver greater impact for children, youth, and communities.
With a stronger operational foundation, dedicated staff, and an enabling work environment, Child Focus Organisation is better equipped to ensure that children and young people are safe, valued, and empowered to realise their full potential
